Let’s talk breakfast. More specifically, breakfast that happens on a Saturday morning. The meal where a warm, flaky pastry should always be present.

These sweet yet scrumptiously savory scones fit the need so well.

They are the perfect consistency. Not a scone that tastes like stone. Yet they have a flakiness that still holds its shape.

The rich chocolate chips (I used dark chocolate instead of semisweet) add a stud of flavor in each bite.

Making these breakfast scones will not disappoint.

In fact, they will make your Saturday morning breakfast tremendously better than it was planned out to be!
