Chocolate Chip Cookies

November 19, 2012

I have been craving a plain old  chocolate chip cookie for a while now. As soon as I saw this recipe, I knew that I had to make them! Large, soft, chewy chocolate chip cookies are always a winner in my book!

We start with the heavenly ingredients. Sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and butter. We combine these to form the “wet ingredients.”

Combine dry ingredients for later use.

Add egg yolks to the wet ingredients. This will make for a very rich cookie!

Add dry ingredients to the wet. This will make it in to COOKIE DOUGH.

Ta da! Magic!

Chill dough in three separate parts. We will layer these on top of each other with chocolate chunks to make cut-out cookies.

A new and fun way to make chocolate chip cookies!
